Information You Provide
We collect information from Panel members during and after registration, including, without limitation, during participation in a survey and in connection with the receipt and redemption of rewards and incentives. Information may be collected in various ways, including inquiry forms, registration forms, surveys, and contests. Equalpaid collects additional data included in your member profile you submit voluntarily. When you sign up for a Panel you will be asked to provide certain Personal Data and demographic information, including but not limited to your name, address, telephone numbers, email address, date of birth, racial and gender information.
In addition to the collection of Personal Data mentioned above, during and subsequent to the registration process, you may be asked to voluntarily provide or disclose Sensitive Data. “Sensitive Data” means Personal Data that discloses or reveals health and medical conditions, sexual orientation or sexual life, political opinions/views, race/ethnic origin, religious and philosophical beliefs and trade-union membership. Sensitive Data is used to target survey opportunities to you. You may refuse to answer certain questions or discontinue participation at any time.
When you join a Panel, we ask you to provide us with information such as your name, telephone number, and email address. We may use this information to send you a test email or text message, or make a test call and to confirm your identity. When you participate in surveys, you may be asked for your personal opinions, as well as demographic information, such as your age, type of job, and household composition.
We may also collect your telephone number in order to better facilitate your use of the Services. By way of example, and without any limitation, we may use your telephone number to identify you, or to send you reminders or other information, via voice or text message, about Surveys you have participated in, or about future Survey or other opportunities. We will not use your telephone number for sales or marketing purposes. When you redeem points, we may ask you to provide us with additional information in order to transfer rewards to your PayPal account. The information requested may include: PayPal email address, PayPal account name. In order to provide high quality service and to protect our members and the Website, we take steps to make sure that Equalpaid members provide honest and accurate information about themselves and to all survey questions to the best of their ability. These steps may include sending you a text message or email to confirm your contact information or asking you to provide personal information through security questions to help us verify your identity before you can redeem your points for rewards. Information Collected Through Automated Means
We may also collect certain information automatically, such as information about: (i) your device or computer and its capabilities, including, but not limited to, the operating system, IP address, device carrier, device type, time zone, network status, browser type, browser identifier, location and other information that alone or in combination may be used to uniquely identify your device or computer; and (ii) your activities in connection with Equalpaid Services, including, without limitation, survey data and responses, and reward, incentive, and/or sweepstakes information. Specific examples of this information, and the technology that collects it, are below:
Cookies: Cookies are small information packets sent by web servers to web browsers, and stored by the web browsers. The information is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server, which enables a web server to identify and track web browsers. There are two main kinds of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device or computer indefinitely until deleted. We may use session and persistent cookies for several purposes including, without limitation, to provide a better survey experience, quality control, validation, to enable or facilitate survey participation, tracking of completed surveys or other completed actions, and for fraud detection and/or prevention. Cookies help us recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information that you previously shared with us, such as your setting preferences. In order to use Equalpaid, you must have cookies enabled on your browser.

Web Cookie: Web cookies to track the use of this website from the same browser on the same machine. This information will be stored and used anytime we see the same browser.
Adobe Flash Cookie: Adobe Flash cookies to track the use of the Website on the same machine from different browsers. This information will be stored and used anytime we see the same device.
Microsoft Silverlight Cookie: Microsoft Silverlight cookies to track the use of the Website on the same machine from different browsers. This information will be stored and used anytime we see the same device.
Refusing cookies: Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies. In Internet Explorer, you can refuse all cookies by clicking “Tools”, “Internet Options”, “Privacy”, and selecting “Block all cookies” using the sliding selector. In Firefox, you can adjust your cookies settings by clicking “Tools”, “Options” and “Privacy”. In order to use Equalpaid, you must have cookies enabled on your browser.
Log Files: We may automatically gather and store certain information in log files, including, without limitation, data available from your web browser, including, without limitation, IP Address, browser type, Internet service provider, pages you visit, referring/exiting pages, operating system, date/time stamp and click stream data.
Digital Fingerprinting: Generally, digital fingerprinting assigns a unique identifier to your device or computer based upon the device’s or computer’s technical settings, characteristics and IP Address. We use digital fingerprinting technology for quality control and validation purposes and fraud detection and/or prevention, including, but not limited to, identifying duplicate or fraudulent respondents.
Do Not Track: We allow third-party companies to collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you visit our web site. These companies may utilize cookies, pixels or other technologies to collect and use non-personally identifiable information (e.g., hashed data, click stream information, browser type, time and date, subject of advertisements clicked or scrolled over) during your visits to this and other web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services likely to be of greater interest to you.
